The Cressi Frog diving fins are probably the most renowned products of this prestigious Italian brand, inspiring amateur and professional divers around the world since 1993 with their outstanding design values.
Frog was one of the first Cressi fins to introduce the foot-pocket-under-blade design, in which the blade arises directly from the foot pocket’s upper part to transmit all generated power from the foot to the blade and multiplying its effectiveness between 10% and 15%. Although the Frog is heavier than Cressi’s more modern, stylized designs, its higher thrust power makes it an excellent choice for more experienced, technical divers.
The Frog also has an oversized heel strap, whose elasticity is specially calibrated to properly adjust the foot against the foot pocket and increase acceleration.
A classic in the Cressi range, this has been on the market for many years and has a huge number of appreciators in every corner of the planet. The fin is made with a skilful combination of a strong copolymer and a soft elastomer, the latter used for the foot pocket, for the side stringers and for some inserts. The blade originates from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin of the same length. The foot pocket is computer designed and offers great comfort; it guarantees excellent transmission of the leg-fin thrust. The Frog is heavier than the more recently designed equivalent Cressi models. It is this feature that makes it agreeable to whoever uses very thick suits or watertight suits. Anyone who works underwater will appreciate this fin a great deal because it is strong and comfortable, very popular also in diving schools and excellent for rental.
